Rare, Medium Rare, or Well Done?

How do you like your steaks? When was the last time you enjoyed a good steak and what was good about it?

Do you have any questions about what to look for when you are choosing steak from the supermarket or butchers and also how to best prepare it?

I believe that steak should never be over cooked and always have some pink in it. I Prefer my steaks medium-rare because the flavour is in the natural juices from the steak.

I'm with you, Jonathon. That's exactly how I like my steaks! I agree that all the flavour is in the juices. How do you prepare your steaks then?

I love grass-fed beef cooked medium rare. I like a nice thick steak or London Broil. I marinate it a few hours with wine, olive oil, and some spices. The best steaks are grilled, imho. Most anything is great grilled. Yummy.

I am a big steak fan! I like a scotch or porterhouse cooked medium rare. Has to be cooked in a hot pan and turned once only.
