I don't care where you get your apetite, as long as you eat at home!

I am passionate about food. I'm a cheeky butcher, because that's what butchers are like. I once had a customer that came in and asked me for some rump. He looked a bit sad, so I thought I'd cheer up his day. I turned around and showed him my butt. I stood there for a while, then tured back with a cheeky grin and said, "Well, do you like my rump?" It took him a few minutes but when he cottoned on he roared with laughter.

Being the first female qualified butcher in Western Australia was a real feat, as women were not recognised within the trades when I got my qualification. I had to fight for it. So it came as no surprise to me when I was recently in Melbourne for an AgriFood Skills Council Event and visited the Vic Markets, that the butchers there didn't believe that I was a butcher. I told them to put their money where there mouths were and show me the knives and show them how a real butcher bones his meat. The guy pulled out his $100 and when I said, "Well give me some knives" he grabbed up his money, scared he might lose it.
